About The Foodie Queen
The Foodie Queen is an individual and special food business run by Heather Slack. Heather has always loved planning and preparing good food, and especially loves catering for any occasion when friends and family can eat together . Through her cookery school and catering service she shares her culinary knowledge and skills and her enthusiastic love of food with others.
The Cookery school is based at Heather’s lovely family home in the rural village of Buckland Newton in Dorset. The entertaining and informative cookery demonstrations show you how to produce irresistibly delicious recipes which you will want to go home and cook. With a programme offering new menus each term, and private days by arrangement, this is a relaxing and fun way to enjoy an indulgent day out or to share a special occasion with friends and family.
Heather also offers Children's Cooking Parties, combining her culinary skills with her skills and experience as a school teacher.
The Foodie Queen Catering Service offers high quality, delicious and beautifully presented food for your event or special occasion. A variety of menus is available suggesting dishes for parties, dinners, and other occasions, and Heather is always happy to discuss your own ideas and plan a menu to your requirements or budget.
All Foodie Queen dishes are entirely homemade using top quality ingredients, which are locally produced and seasonal when ever possible.
